Background / Creative Brief
The Smithsonian Museum capital campaign brochure for the National Museum of American History.
Exhibiting some of our nation’s most treasured objects and igniting young minds through education and outreach can only be accomplished with significant private dollars.
Spear was tasked to target a very small group of 250 philanthropists dedicated to giving charitable donations to The Arts.
The attention grabbing mirror finish gloss cover poses the question “Who is Responsible for America?” The answer is you, because you see yourself.
The brochure is over sized and beautifully printed on patriotic red, white and blue pages, separated by historical black and white photographs from the museums own archive printed on vellum.
Results / ROI
The capital campaign goal of 100 million dollars was reached in less then six months.
A limited edition of just 250 brochures was produced. Each one costing $250.
